Description

The Estadio Metropolitano is a sports venue located in Madrid, Spain. It has been the stadium of Club Atlético de Madrid since 2017. For sponsorship reasons, the stadium has had several names, first Wanda Metropolitano and currently Cívitas Metropolitano. Originally the stadium was designed to be an Olympic stadium as part of Madrid’s candidacy to host the Olympic Games, an objective that was never achieved.
